   I've been at my job in L&D for just over 90 days now and I got 12 weeks of orientation...6 weeks on days and then 6 weeks on nights, then my regular shift is on nights.

   Our hospital plays Braham's Lullaby whenever a baby is born...the mom's and their families love it. It plays throughout the whole hospital.

   Thanks everyone...every birth is a miracle to me and I find myself telling every baby "Happy Birthday" as I'm drying them off. If shift change comes and my patient is pushing or close, I've stayed after to see it through...I just can't imagine labor...

    Forgot to mention, that I did have to take an ACT residual test on campus for application to the program...but it wasn't that difficult....no more difficult than the tests in the program are!
