    Report it to your supervisor immediately. The suspected person should be sent home immediately. If you don't report it, You will be held accountable.
  2. Will nursing grow on me?

    I you don't like doing nurse tasks now you never will. Now is the time you should be excited. If you don't like it now, I don't think you will 5 years from now.
  3. What's the difference between and RN and an LPN

    LPNs know everything a RN knows but not as deep. I personally love being an LPN but i new from the first day of clinical that I wanted to work LTC.

    i work ltc with 36 patients on 3-11.

  6. Almost Fainted in the OR Twice!!

    I passed out in the OR too. Idk why. I ate a good breakfast and remembered to shuffle my feet. Another student in my class passed out also. I don't think I got nauseous either because I was just watching a colonoscopy not a limp amputation or any...

    every nursing facility has one or more residents like this. I just learn to do what i can for them and just deal with it.

    Every nursing student ever felt this way. Its actually a good thing-shows that you care. You can do this.
  13. Advice needed from fellow night shift people

    Thats what I used to do when I worked nights. I always just slept til noon on my days off so I could actually enjoy my days off.
  14. I had a resident who her PT/INR levels were always out of whack even after increasing and decreasing her Coumadin even to different doses on different days of the week. She know is taking Pradaxa.
  15. I doubt they thought ur were silly. Kidney stones are no joke.
