Still waiting...looks like that's probably not a good sign. Good luck to everyone who got an interview!
I just checked my mail and nothing. It seems like if letters went out Friday we should know by now. I know the mail can be slow but today is Wednesday. Are letters only sent out to students who get the interview or does everyone receive one even if it's a denial?
I would choose PCC because it's closer.
I guess both. I don't have any CNA work experience but am just looking for a reputable place.
I haven't heard from them either.
I'm just wondering where are some good places to work as a CNA, preferably East Portland? Thanks
I would probably choose PCC.
Thank you for calling. I was beginning to wonder...
I'm just curious if anyone has heard from MHCC? I just got my mail and there wasn't anything.
Kuku1981 - Thank you...I am holding out hope for MHCC. So, they look more at individual GPA rather than overall? That's good for me because I have all A's in all science classes. We will see though.
Thanks nursetobe3. I have all my pre-reqs completed, so I think I would be in good shape to apply at Clark. I'm assuming classes from MHCC would transfer? I'm anxious to hear from MHCC.
Nursetobe3 - do you know when MHCC sends their letters out?
I figured I had close to 50 pts, which obviously isn't even close to what the people that were invited to the essay had. My GPA was about 3.75. It kind of sucks because I have all A's except in math, I have an Associates degree. I also have my CNA but no experience, but that would not have mattered. I basically didn't get any discretionary points. I didn't expect to get in the first year I applied. I'm thinking of applying at Clark. Does anyone know anything about their nursing program? Airbender - thanks for the well wishes. Good luck to you too!
I just received my rejection letter....boooo. The letter stated there were 883 applications this year. I was surprised, I thought there would've been more. Good luck to everyone who has made it to the essay/interview round and to the students who get into the nursing program! Hopefully next year is my year.
That's a good idea...I will check. Thanks so much.
