  4. 2014 Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) Poll

    The trick worked for me! Took my test June 6th. Cut off at 82 questions! Tried Pearson Vue as I was leaving the facility and got the good pop up! It works!

    Welcome!! I am a new CNA (certified April 14th, 2012) in MS. Hoping to get into the LPN or RN program this fall. I'm 32 yrs old so this is a career change for me but I'm liking CNA work so far.
  10. CNA salary

    Here in MS, base rate is $7.85 if you're certified and 5% extra for 3-11 shift, 15% extra for 11-7 shift. If your not certified, you have four months to get certified and your base rate is $7.35 until you pass your test.
  11. Lazy stuck up nurses

    I know where you are coming from. See this all the time. I work in a dietary and nothing tees me off more than to go to pick up the cart (cnas or nurses pick the trays up from the pt's room) and see one CNA running her tail off trying to help someone...

    I am currently in CNA class and hope to be in nursing school by August. If I can stand cutting a dead decaying dog out of the underpart of my trailer, I think I can stand a little poop and pee smell! GROSS!
  13. Real Stories of the ER

    I really love watching "Trauma: Life in the E.R.". I am going to be starting CC this summer to begin pre reqs for nursing school and it is very interesting. They do show more doctors than nurses but still interesting.
