    I dropped mine off in person today and didn't receive any kind of confirmation either, other than the lady at the front desk taking it from me

    We will all be summer C. Summer C encompasses the whole semester, while A and B are compressed sessions within the summer. Hope this helps!

    I just got back from a weeklong Caribbean cruise. What could be better than that besides for... An acceptance email when I returned! I sent an add request to the FB group, looking forward to getting to know you all. And for those of you who were waitlisted, hang in there, last year a lot of people ended up getting in because accepted people opted for other schools.

    someone (sorry, not sure who) had posted this last year:

    [color=#333333]first semester:
    [color=#333333]monday: health assessment 8-10:50, essentials 1-3:50
    [color=#333333]tuesday: community health nursing 7:30-10:20, 2 labs - they go from 12-5:20 (this was a long day..)
    [color=#333333]*community health nursing is only for the first 6 weeks, then you don't have class anymore
    [color=#333333]wednesday - roles of the pro nurse 8-10:20 (done for the day until you have the long term care clinical, then you have to go pick up a patient assignment at some point during the day)
    [color=#333333]thursday & fridays for the first 6 weeks - community clinicals range from 8-4pm
    [color=#333333]the second half is long term care clinical (my hrs for that were 6am-3pm)
    [color=#333333]*i think this by far was the toughest semester, there are tons of assignments and papers, you will be busy all of the time

    [color=#333333]second semester
    [color=#333333]monday: adult 1 7:30-10:20, pathophysiology 1:00-4:20
    [color=#333333]tuesday: off
    [color=#333333]wednesday: families 7:30-10:20, pharmacology 1:00-4:20
    [color=#333333]rotations are peds/ob for 6 weeks and adult 1 for 6 weeks
    [color=#333333]hours vary, my schedule was peds/ob thurdays and fridays from 6:30-1:30
    [color=#333333]adult 1 was 7am-7pm on thurdays, again, schedules vary but it's the same amount of hours
    [color=#333333]*this was a difficult semester as well because you take 16 tests plus one paper

    Hi guys, I'm applying for the ABSN as well. I have a bachelor's in psychology and a master's in management. Up until recently I ran a nonprofit housing campus for homeless single moms. After 10 years working in the nonprofit field, I decided to take the plunge and change careers, partly because where health/medicine is where my heart is and partly because I am looking for a little better work/life balance. Nice to meet you all!

    Hi,
    I'm not sure if this is the right place to post as I'm new to the forum. I was just accepted to UCF's accelerated program and am currently pregnant, due between semesters. I am looking for others who are in the same boat or have completed the program while pregnant. If you don't want to post here, you can email me at carascoupons At gmail DOT com.
    Thanks!
