   Several of us received scholarships through Collin's foundation. I think the applications are still open for next year. Look on Collin.edu under the foundation tab and there is a link to apply.

   If you are planning to buy lots of scrubs, you may want to get some of them in royal blue. Many hospitals in the area require that for their nurses.

   Yes, tuition is the same. 1st and 3rd sem. you pay a $22 fee for liability insurance. There are lots of other up front expenses, though. The required uniform is about $100. Drug testing about $30. Books...lots of books maybe close to $900 if you...

   If you did not get in, don't give up hope!! I got in off the waitlist and so did several others in my class. Call Monday and make an appointment to go talk to them...be nice, let them know you are serious. I am convinced that goes far!!

   This past spring, they mailed letters on Friday. Most of us received them on Tuesday, but a few didn't arrive until Wednesday. It was torture!! Good luck to all of you.
