  1. Capella RN-BSN Flexpath-My experience

For those of you having issues with APA, just use the PERRLA formatting software by downloading it to your computer. I graduated from Capella last year, RN-BSN Magna cum laude.
  2. Capella University

I have finished the program, however I chose the traditional 10 week classes so I don't know much about the flexpath. I thought the program was great! Most of the instructors want you to succeed and will respond to any questions you have within 24...
  3. Capella University

No clinical component. I'm completing the Capstone in a few weeks.
  4. Accepted to Capella University RN to BSN program

Three classes might be difficult since you will be writing many papers.
  5. Accepted to Capella University RN to BSN program

Yes, they offer a flex path option where you can pay a set fee and take as many classes as you want.
  6. Capella RN-BSN

I have four classes remaining in the RN-BSN program. I would not give the program a bad review at all. I actually enjoy the program. I would advise you to consider enrolling into the program which is nationally and regionally accredited.

  10. Memorial Hermann

Pearland (west) is a great suburb with nice homes and apartments. It's about 20 min. from TMC Memorial Hermann with no traffic.
  11. I have my opinion and you have yours. I see nothing wrong with allowing someone who can't pass NCLEX-RN to take the NCLEX-PN and give them the license if they pass. I know several people who have done this. Again, my opinion. Moving on...
  12. Again, no one should be allowed multiple attempts (more than 3) at passing the NCLEX-RN. Remediation should be mandatory after that many attempts. Something is clearly wrong. If the profession is to become elevated, BSN minimum, then NCLEX_RNmax a...
  13. My thing is that if this profession is all about being elevated (BSN minimum to practice), then why are people allowed to take this exam until they pass it? Are doctors allowed to take their boards 7 or 8 times? Are lawyers allowed to take the bar ...
  14. Forgive me but I was not trying to insult LVNs. I am frustrated that people are being allowed to take the NCLEX 4 or 5 times. When I graduated, you could only take the NCLEX three times max, then you needed remediation. This really needs to stop! ...
  15. I just read in another thread that some Boards of nursing are allowing multiple attempts at taking the NCLEX exam. Is this true? If so, this is ridiculous! If we are trying to elevate the profession by requiring a minimum BSN to practice, then why...
