  1. The reading for this class does not address the pre-test At ALL!!! I HATE this class as well. This is an excellent example of the disaster that occures when you have people who write questions and don't base them on your cariculum material.
  2. In fact they did not! They where the first to speak up and even began training me to cover for days when they where the charge nurse. I received the highest complement any NYSE can pay another I was told "If I where a patient, you would be the nurse ...
  3. Obviously I did't realize that being a good nurse and trying to improve a bad situation would cost me my job! From what it sounds like, this conduct and behavior is common practice for administration. Lesson learned.... You may now continue with the ...
  4. Perhaps I should have allowed mistreatment and unsafe care to continue for a bit longer before trying to prevent another assault? It's not as though I expressed concerns they hadn't heard in fact, The RN's and LVN's attempted to gather the union reps...

  11. Not to mention the personal liability I expose myself to when doing so.
  12. While I understand that your advise is to keep my mouth shut frankly, several patients and staff have been attacked, including myself. I would rather uphold my standards of nursing care than run the risk of having my license revoked because of an unf...
  13. I need help please. Just not sure what to do now. Getting right to the particulars. I was working in a So Cal Hospital in a Psychiatric unit. I was assigned a set schedule. 1) I was suddenly assigned to work 8 days straight Wed - Wed (8 hour shifts...
  14. New grad RN jobs

There are no jobs. Period. It costs thousands of dollars to train a new grad. Hospitals are not willing to invest in new people, let alone new grads. It sucks. It's going to bite the health care system in the posterior later on but, there you have it...
  15. Poll for Unemployed Nurses

That's one reason why I'm doing this. New and Experienced, young and well seasoned Nurses are all having the same problem. I've seen older nurses complain that's it's Agisim and it's cheaper to hire new grads. I've seen new grads companies that it's ...
