    i try to look as professional as i can be, as long as it is neatly trimmed it's fine. however, check with were you are working there maybe some policies in regards to nurses with beards.

    I've only ever cried when a paed patient had died. I then decided to never work in paediatrics or neonatal again. As I'm a father of 3 children, it's just to heartbreaking to see. I admire all nurses who have and are working in these areas.

    In Australia, to become a NP you need a MiN degree and have worked for atleast two years in a field. The Masters degree is quite good, it opens a lot of doorways. I'm currently doing general practice and specialize in oncology / acute care -Joel
