    Hi,
You might want to visit the website of AHPRA for more details or if you're that patient enough, which you will also need to do once submitted your documents, reading previous discussions will be a great help as well, in fact I did the same thing when I was still at lost on what to do plus the AHPRA website of course.

When I started reading from page 1, I think last page back then was still at 600.. It's not yet too late to start reading now.

You'll be amazed on the important points, reminders, and tips that you're gonna get as you read.

Thank you irin. I guess I'll just do the same. How many days did it take before you claimed your Certificate of good standing from PRC? by the way, did you apply in AHPRA VIC? Do you have your LOE?
I can't remember exactly but a week or two maybe.Ask them if it can be expedite but you need to add additional fee for that. I send mine to WA. Still waiting for my LOE, just pass my last requirement last week of June. But those who were able to submit documents last May they already have their LOE last May.

Hoping to receive mine either last week of July or 1st week of August.

    hi!

in my case, after getting the said document from prc i bought a mail envelope with prc seal and placed my certificate of good standing there. i also asked the same question and was advised to proceed directly to the booth of courier inside the prc compound. your document will be delivered in 2-3 days time plus you can even track your package on-line.

    hi everyone,

i would like to ask if i need to go directly to idp for my ielts result to be sent to ahpra or do i just need to coordinate with my review center who facilitated the application back when i was about to take it?

any feedback would be appreciated. thanks in advance.
in my case i went directly to idp office and requested for a copy to be sent to ahpra.

    i need clarifications regarding ielts:

    1. is it true that changes will come to effect this july?
    2. is it true that 8.0 will be required band scores from 7.0?

    please enlighten.
    hi official02 ,
in my opinion ahpra will be issuing a statement if there will be such kind of changes. as to the said rumor, i also heard of the same grapevine when i was about to take my ielts around june last year (that it is going to take effect by september last year)> i haven't heard any confirmation from ahpra regarding this matter so i think the 7.0 will still apply. to make sure that indeed there is no truth in the said rumor, better make an inquiry about it with ahpra, which you can do via email.

I never thought that getting an ET's vital signs would be this challenging.

    [quote=sephine;6304848]hi everyone!

i just want to clarify on some things concerning the ahpra requirements:

1.) do we really need to have our current employer sign the pages of our cv?

if you can ask your employer to do that for you that will be great, but in my case ahpra honored my statement of service/certificate of employment from my employer and did not ask me to have my cv signed by my previous employers.

2.) does the reference/publications part of the cv refer to people references (dean, chief nursing officer of hospital etc) ? what about the publications parts?

reference - someone not related to you who can testify about your character and capability as nurse (eg dean, former supervisor..)

publications - my understanding on this is that- if you have any research/articles/thesis that have been published in a journal or by an accredited research organization/institution then you can add it as part of your cv just don't forget the include all the details (just like when you are citing a journal as part of your bibliography)

this is not the exact order but it must include all of these information

author/s (if you are not the only author add the name of other collaborators) .year of publication.title of research/article.page.edition.volume#,address and name of publisher.

if this is wrong then kindly correct me on this. i hope this answers your question.

no matter how i like to back read, this thread is quite too long already. after 2yrs of working as an RN here in the PH, i suddenly got interested with australia since i don't want to work in middle east countries.

I've read in other forums that if I have a work experience, the bridging program would only take 3-6mos, correct me if I am wrong, I maybe read it wrong, and for those who doesn't have any work experience it will take 2yrs.

I'd like to clarify this matter with you guys. Also I would like to ask, how do you process your papers, is it with IDP in Makati? Lastly, for those who are already in AU or those who have any idea, could you kindly give a breakdown or at least an estimated price range that will cost me in this application.

    Thank you very much.
    Hi bettyboop09,

I understand where you're coming from. I was also overwhelmed with the number of posts under this thread when I first joined this forum, but I can assure you that almost all if not all of the information that you needed about application is already posted here. Just for the record, I was able to catch up by reading the thread starting from page 1 of Part 2. But of course I didn't finish it all at once since I don't have the luxury of time to do that.

The main reason this thread was created was to guide all of us who are in search of answers to questions we don't normally get in some websites because what we do here is to share our experiences so that other people in the same situation will also hasten their learning curve or don't have to go through the same situation.

Perseverance is a must and sometimes you really just have to be a little more patient reading this thread.
