6. Can LPNs work in the delivery room or maternity?

   We have LVNs on our unit but they don't take active laboring pts. They can do inductions before they become active, mag holds, pretermers etc.

   Ours comes mixed already but sometimes if we are in a rush and we run out of room temp bags we have to mix it ourselves.

    I kinda took that as you have to make yourself available for at least 5 days out of the week? I know years back they tried 8s but they didn't last.
