    That's pretty similar to how we do it in my little ER. We are 17 beds, one triage nurse, one supervisor, and 2-3 staff nurses that are scheduled staggered throughout the day. Triage nurse quick-regs patients, triages 99% of all pts through the door...

    At my facility, they even expect us to STOP WHAT WE ARE DOING and do everything we can to get that med list. Call the pharmacy and get a list faxed, call the MD, call home and have all 6,000 read to us over the phone. Like we have time for that?
