   Look up schools in your area and find out what rereqs and grades they require to be admitted into nursing school. It's a process, you have to start at the beginning.

   Is this T1D or T2D? Ideally, any teacher that has contact with student should know if the student is being treated for diabetes and know what to look for (highs/lows).

   I think nursing school and MHNP program will give her the experience in pharmacology. If you find a NP school that will take your without RN bedside experience, that go for it.

   My first nursing job I had an LVN as the floor supervisor and she was amazing. I learned more from her in a few months than all of nursing school.

   It was an emergency, I've never heard of needing a doctor's order to send to the ER.

   This was 12 years ago so they may not do this anymore, but during orientation they brought in a service and drug tested all the students who hadn't done theirs yet.

   If BSN is the goal- I'd go for ADN then bridge (or straight to traditional BSN). And LPN bridge to BNS will take much more work in the long run.

   You're young. Hang in there. Focus on those pre-nursing sciences, as those are heavily weighed in many schools. If you have to retake stuff, retake it. Stuff happens, we make mistakes and move on. You've got this.

    THIS. I loved being able to pick my professors in my prenursing classes. Nursing school you don't get a choice. You go where and when they tell you to.

    Please list all these 'diploma' mill schools saturating the market with NPs in desirable cities.. Supply and demand really rules the market, anywhere you live. Oversupply means less money and or opportunities.

    Hurst was the review course I took for NCLEX (albeit over 10 years ago). The single biggest thing that helped me when doing practice questions was to ALWAYS read the rationale. Even for the ones you get right. There is so much content in the rationa...
