    I'm not sure what you are asking for. The term "bridging programme" applies to course work for LPNs working towards a BScN or a diploma RN wanting to obtain their degree. These are nurses educated in Canada.

    Considering what others posted, Fiona had the least to say on the subject. For the record, I only get "supervised" by an on-call RN who is a telephone call away. Not on the premises, a phone call away.

    It's all got to do with money. Over the last couple of years RNs have pretty much priced themselves out of work. When LPNs work to full scope there is really very little difference on the units. How many blood transfusions does the average unit do?...

    Wow, ever tried reading the Athabascau Calender? It gives you most of the answers. Student loans are a crapshoot. You just have to apply, cross ur fingers, cross ur toes and pray.

    Yep, but nurses from out west are heading home to the Maritimes. My friend's sister is about ready to retire in Great Falls and glad to be going.
  9. A friend works at the Glenrose and has told me that the IENs on her unit are in a panic. Their work visas are nearly finished and there are no full time lines available. They are facing returning home.

    Dude a SSN means Social Security Number it's American. Canadians have SINs---Social Insurance Number. You should know the difference if you really are Canadian.
