  1. Chamberlain Economics

Just finished my final for Economics and bombed it. Had such a hard time in the class. Does anyone know what the passing grade is for the class? I was told a D by the student services. I'm just panicking. I had an 86 before the final. Now I have a 69...
  2. Off duty RN scope of practice on an airplane.

Is it strange that the OP hasn't responded with anymore details? There's quite a few logical posts regarding some things that probably need some clarification... and yet nothing.
  3. What's the meanest thing a patient has said to you?

A old 97 year old with bad dementia once screamed, "your mother was a wh**e and you'll be one too"! I almost died laughing. The look on her face was awesome...
  4. Nurses Week 2015 Freebies

A friend of mine just went to DD in Massachusetts yesterday and got her free coffee (although you an only get an iced dark roast). So it's definitely true!
  5. Hospitals hiring new grads these days?

Beth Israel-Plymouth (formerly Jordan hospital) hires new grads.
  6. Nurses forced to work as aides

Coming in and being a tech in my hospital happens often. I actually don't mind it at all. I can do a really thorough skin check for the nurse I'm working with. I also help any of the nurses that are running late and need help. It's about teamwork!
  7. When should I start a family?

I'm 29 now and in an ADN-BSN program. These thoughts cross my mind all the time as I'd like to get into an NP program next year, but I'd also like to get pregnant this year. My husband is gone half the month for work so it would be tough to balance a...

  9. Chamberlain College of Nursing-FNP...accepted!!!

Is anyone from Massachusetts doing the FNP? I know they weren't accepting Ma residents for awhile, but I'm not seeing anything on the website that states that anymore. Thanks!
  10. Non-FIT Nurses and FIT Nurses

My vice is an almond joy iced coffee from a local coffee shop called maylous. Too yummy!
  11. I went to QC for my RN and MPI for my LPN. MPI is awful. I'm pretty sure tuition is up to 24k for their 1 year lpn program. That's way too much. Their nclex pass rates are really low. Many people failed out of the program and they didn't have any hel...
  12. Started my LPN at 25 and finished it at 26. Began my ASN at 27 and finished at my current age of 28. I just started my BSN and will finish at age 29!
  13. A concerned LPN!

I wouldn't look at it as having 35-38 residents, but look at it as how many things are to be done on that shift. Typically there aren't a lot of meds or treatments to be done. I would make a list of things that need to be completed. I remember workin...
  14. Dialysis staff nurse salary in US

I'm sorry but taking an RN job for 10/hr is bad for the nursing community. Basically by taking it your showing that nurses will accept awful pay for such a responsible position. It's a "slippery slope" as they say.
  15. why nursing is a mess. three simple facts

I think you're all just being trolled. He literally has changed his icon from a vain "selfie" to one of those "troll face" drawings. Methinks he is pleased with the outcome of his trolliness.
