   Thanks everybody for your help! I did a Google search and saw that a lot of other students had inquired about the same question. I figured it was a diabetes related question and really thought it was caused by ketoacidosis.

   I would have to say, by far, Microbiology has been my favorite class and it corresponds very well with my A&P II class. I enjoy the labs and all the hands on work. I agree that it is a little easier than A&P II.....good luck!

   I'm currently taking Microbiology and A&P II now. It's been a lot of work, but manageable. I took them both at the same time so I could apply for the RN program next fall. :)
