  2. New Grad RN feeling down after a lousy interview.

  11. Ah, the things we say when we're tired

We have a key card entry on our doors to get from the clinic area to the medical records and office areas. Sometimes when I am tired, I show my key to the light switch on the inside of the door and wait for it to beep to let me out.
  12. Secretary infighting

OMG this sounds so familiar. I also deal with game-players. I think you handled it the best way you could by bringing them both in. I would have ended the meeting when the language got ugly. Some of my staff probably think I wait too long to address ...

  15. Those who have left bedside nursing (like me...)

I left hospital nursing for Public Health 20 years ago. I manage a variety of clinical programs but I really like public health preparedness the best. I enjoy working with various community agencies and through preparedness activities, and especially...
