I just want to see less nurses on shows like "Snapped" or "Fatal Vows" My husband is starting to look at me sideways!
  2. Sick of nurses "referring" to our specialty

I'm not a school nurse, but I am a parent and I THANK YOU for putting up with my kids! Especially when my daughter decided to eat the rubber on the playground as part of a dare. Bless you all!

  13. Regular hours?

After 12 years on the floor, I now work a 7-4 non-patient care job. I think without the patients working daily is easier. I rarely bring work home, and if I do it's because it's my choice to do so. This body is worn, tattered, and ready to be scatter...
  14. Ethical dilemma, what would you do?

Take the interview and see what happens. Although you do not deal with the office manager, what is going on will eventually affect you. It would be wise to gather any documentation you can of any unlawful events and by all means save yourself!
  15. computers

Are they implying that nurses are now like computers? That can't be right because computers don't care for money. While nurses (myself in particular) seem to thrive on it. Time to go shopping on the internet while at work...
