  1. She went and immediately got another job in an ICU. I would be devastated and need time off. I might eventually go back to work doing another kind of nursing, or even something outside of nursing. I most certainly couldn't jump right back in.

  3. I'm not surprised the BON didn't do anything. I know another nurse that was responsible for a patient's death and they didn't do anything to her either. She didn't even lose her job. She lost a week of PTO time and that's it.

    I never had a certificate. I just had to have 2 years of case management experience before I could take the exam to be a CCM.

    The low passing rate for NCLEX of TSU students is a very well known fact around here. That is just not true. TSU has a HIGH NCLEX pass rate....at least they did when I graduated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    How did you get to be a CCM without a professional credential? Everything I see says you have to have a professional license in order to even sit for the exam.

    It's been my experience in a "friend" situation that the MD won't even listen to me as I'm not family nor the power of attorney. Everything to the MD goes through the husband in this situation I would think.
