About Junebug59

Junebug59 has 44 years experience as a RN and specializes in Main O.R. and CVOR.

I've been working in the O.R. since I was 19 as a CST.  After 10 yrs of Scrub Teching it, I became a RN in the Main O.R. & srub/circ. Travel nurse for 16yrs. Now CVOR for the past 2 years.  Wish I had started a long time ago in cvor.  I love it.  I'm 61 and will retire soon,,,  I HOPE!   who knows with the way the world is revolving.  Y'all be safe out there.

Over the course of 4 decades of working in the o.r., I have never seen a burn from a bovie pad. I've always been taught that it isn't the metal in the area that can cause problems, but the scar tissue caused by the implantation of said metal. Scar...
