  1. Questions about CNA Exam.

    when you take your exam keep in mind that it is "hospital usa" meaning every patient can assist ( roll to their side, get up, walk.. etc) and speak to you. if you get denture care there will be a set of dentures and a live person not a dummy and you...
  2. Patient Care Tech/CNA-same thing?

    hi- you can work as a patient care tech as long as you have your cna certificate. i just got hired as a patient care tech at one of my local hospitals in the oncology department. they are going to train me on ekg's as well.
  3. pct/nurse tech wages

    as a new cna, i got hired at a hospital in connecticut and got started at $14/hr. on weekends i get paid $16/hr.

    I PASSED!!!!! July 1, 2010!!!! If all goes well, I will be starting school for the Fall semester to finish up my pre-reqs for NURSING SCHOOL!! Congratulations to all of the new grads.. Keep going for the goal!!

    Heeeeey!! I'm starting my CNA classes at the American Red Cross on March 15th!! I was wondering if the class includes a stethoscope and/or other supplies and if we are trained in CPR as well? Thanks!!

    I'm taking mine in CT. We have to wear an all white uniform for all 4 weeks of the day program. It's Monday through Thursday 9am to 3:15pm and clinicals is the last week 7:30am to 1:30pm.
