   I travel 61 miles each way to the County Jail in Pittsburgh, PA. One hour and a half each way, in good weather.Give a half hour or so more when snow starts flying. Been here since Nov.'08, and love my job!

   Please don't think this is a common occurence in Correctional facilities; just my . I know of the facility spoken of by the OP; The CO's there have your back in any situation, and the nursing staff in general I know personally or by working with them...

   I can vouch for nursejudy15209; I work there occasionally thru my agency. The med pass is heavy, and you need to be organized and quick to get all the meds passed before lock down. Some pods have lock down later, and that helps if ya get behind a bit...
