   Not necessarily. When you change out a circuit, you have to: 1) clamp the pt off of ECMO; 2) cut away the connections to the old cirucut; 3) connect to the new circuit to the pt; 4) unclamp. We can do this in 20-30 seconds. I've heard of places th...
