1. A fib in the 40's??

   Sick sinus syndrome... The natural pacemaker no longer is able to control rate. Seen this many times. Chronic afib with frequent RVR regardless of meds is admitted and the HR is 50s and below. They "win" a PPM :)

2. Graduating (God willing) in June 2010 - Anyone else nervous about finding a job?

   I think it is very scary! I am graduating in May and I, too, want to work ICU. I am in the process of looking for an internship in the ICU or ER. If you have made it to this last semester, you are going to be done in June... no hopefully!!
