   That is correct; it has to do with venous return and not vasovagal syncope. When the legs are locked the muscles in the legs do not assist in the return of blood against gravity.

   For the Maricopa Community Colleges as long as you have the minumum GPA you get on the same list as some one with a higher GPA. At the schools where it is copetitive to enter it might be harder to get in with a low GPA.

6. Which college would be allow for the quickest entry to NS?

   You might also want to look at Central Arizona College and Eastern Arizona College. They don't have waiting lists.
