  1. Platt college?

PA was my first choice but I applied three times and didn't get in. I've started at an accelerated BSN program that is NLN accredited so Platt's accreditation is irrelevant to me know.
  2. Looking for LPN school in Colorado

If you actually get through. If you don't get through before the interview spots are filled you have to wait three months for the next call date.
  3. Info on Denver School of Nursing

You have to call on Jan. 4 to set up an interview. The catch is that you have to actually reach a live person, you can't leave a message. And if you don't get through to a live person before they fill up the interview spots, then you have to wait t...
  4. Looking for LPN school in Colorado

That's too bad. But as you said, at least you can take some pride in knowing you got in!
  5. Looking for LPN school in Colorado

I applied to CU and Regis. I'm not expecting to get into CU, and my Regis interview was postponed because of the snowstorm. The main reason Metro is last is because I'd much rather start in May than January. I also have a much better feeling about...
  6. Looking for LPN school in Colorado

I got my acceptance today! It's my third choice, but it's nice to know I'm in somewhere.
  7. Looking for LPN school in Colorado

I had TH for a different online class and I thought he was much better online than in-person. My experience is that in general, the CCC Online classes are easier than the individual school ones. The exceptions I found are PHI 115 and 116. The teac...

The last I heard from them, they said November.
  9. Looking for LPN school in Colorado

It sounds like they've put a little more into it than when I took it.
  10. Looking for LPN school in Colorado

He should look into Platt. That will get him a BSN and they have candidate status for NLN accreditation.
  11. Looking for LPN school in Colorado

I took it a couple of years ago. There were quizzes for each chapter, I think 15 total (one per week) and they are timed at an hour for each, which is plenty of time. There was a paper and some other assignments, plus discussion you have to partici...
  12. Looking for LPN school in Colorado

I didn't do a full visit, I just talked to the admissions people at the open house in April. They seemed fine - I didn't get an overwhelming feeling one way or the other. As I said in the other thread, I don't have a good feeling about the program ...
  13. Looking for LPN school in Colorado

I started a thread on this a few weeks ago and there were some good replies - https://allnurses.com/colorado-nurses/any-current-former-418280.html
  14. Platt college?

Raicho, that's great it worked so well for you. As I said, it seems like a good program, but I can't afford to be out of work for 3 years. I'm married with two kids and we can't afford to lose a paycheck for that long. As for grad school, my whol...
  15. Platt college?

Sand_Dollar, I did apply to the accelerated programs at CU, Regis and Metro this year. I don't think I have a chance at CU with my GPA, though, but hopefully one of them will come through. But if not, I need a backup plan.
