  2. More Strange Baby Names

So far "Quirt" has been the most unique for me...
  3. OB "Freebies"

I love that idea! I was actually a Christmas Eve baby and came home in a stocking.
  4. It shows that you are human. I've been a nurse for 15 years. I still get side swiped by emotions and have been known to cry in a patient's room.
  5. Enemas in the ER

We do milk and molasses enemas...works 99.9% of the time. The "brown cow" is also quite popular with our MDs...prune juice with MOM.

You'll never please all of the people all of the time. Learn from it and move on. As above, this certainly won't be your first (or last) complaint. Just take it as constructive criticism. :)
  10. i might have M.S....

Its been awhile since you posted so you probably know whether you have MS or not. Just know, if you do...its not the end of the world. I was diagnosed 13 years ago. Have been working full time since out of nursing school in a variety of different ...
  11. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It is very hard to be the patient. Its even harder when the caregivers are your co-workers.
  12. OB "Freebies"

Does anyone give out extra freebies to new parents? Our hospital provides the usual Enfamil/Similac diaper bag, knit cap, small classic book and a baby spoon from the volunteers. Just looking for ideas to maybe change it up a bit.
