  1. Failed nursing student

good luck. i remember looking at what to do because I was positive i'd be failing out of my 3rd or 4th semester. What ya gotta look out for is other schools not accepting you because you failed out of whatever school. I'm not trying to tell you to...
  2. Job Interview

I'd call them. Just shows that you're interested in the job. I know I'm partial to us nurses but I'd be happy that they took the initiative to call me up if I were them. Kinda shows that you want that job more than somebody that doesn't call.

  7. Correct way to give IM injections?

I've never given it with two hands. Like you said, dart it in, aspirate, then inject.
  8. Great story. Really touching. It kind of plays into what I've been thinking and it's this. To anybody that's even remotely involved in long term nursing care- you're far more emotionally stronger than I think I could ever be. I work in an acute c...
  9. Please Help with IV calculation homework

Yeah, going along with what the people above me said-you need to know how many mcg/ml or mg/ml before you can figure out how fast to titrate that. And like what Becky said above me, I don't think that 4 is right. There are 1000 mg/mcg so taking tha...
