  3. What classes did you take with A&P?

For your professor to suggest not working or taking other classes with A&P is bit much. I took A&P 1 with Eng and A&P 2 with Sociology. And this was done working 40+ hours. Regardless of your case load or job, some classes require more th...
  4. Best planner for nursing school?

I have used the Erin Condren Vertical and that was ok. The coil in the middle tends to get in the way. I recently got the horizontal layout which allowed more freedom on the page. Can be time consuming decorating the pages and buying stickers to use....
  5. Office space in bedroom - advice

If possible I would have the study area outside of your bedroom. Just so you have that separation. I have a one bedroom and recently added a writer's table (from Ikea). I used to do everything in my room. Now that my study area is separated it is eas...

I currently have student loan debt from attending a 4 year college. And let me tell you: try your best to borrow as little as possible. Sally Mae and Discover will be BFFs for quite some time. I have returned to school and paying out of pocket. I sa...
  8. How do you stay organized?

I use Google Calendar to post a monthly view on a board....syncs with all my android devices and Chromebook. I also have the Erin Condren planner. It is pricey...with shipping it was close to $60...but I really like it.
  9. Please, anyone help! Pre-nursing student

I agree with what the others have posted and want to reiterate: Stop Stressing!! That will and should ease some of your anxiety about passing the class. You have done something that some people have not done and that is seek help! YouTube and Google...
  10. I am from and reside where VCU is located. And I see nothing wrong with the path you have taken to become a nurse by attending a CC. I am going back to school and attending a local CC is the best option for me. I think people automatically assume it ...
  11. I am very interested in hearing what others have to say. I too live alone and working full time is a must. I could only go part time if can keep my benefits and get the same amount of money. But something like that would be too much like right.
  12. how do YOU take notes?

I read and create my notes before class. During class, I highlight in my book what the instructor went over and then compare that to my notes. Then I type a new set of notes, based on the comparison. I am very repetitive with my notes...helps me reta...
  13. Looking for the PERFECT ink pen ;)

I am all for the Sharpie Pens! I find new packs all over the house because I am always losing them. But its good to know others are fanatic about pens...but im pretty much a fanatic about office supplies in general esp. post it notes and highlighters...
  14. I would try a North Face. They have a good varitety in my opinion. You can shop around on their site , Amazon, or Dick Sporting Goods. The have good back support. And considering that this is "back to school" time, you may catch a good deal.
  15. Struggles with finding a nursing job....

WOW...the last thing people need is more negative words. Maybe, we should just shed light on facts (ie. the job market is poor, ok, or good in some areas) and let people "make their own journey". But doing that would be too much like right!
