   Thanks for your reply. We do have OR techs, which are essentially the same thing as your OR asst's. However, I have NEVER seen any openings posted. Must be a good job with low turnover rate. I wonder if the OR would consider "cross training" me down ...

   I think the two previous posts pretty much nailed it. It won't run smoothly, and it's tough. Just don't sweat the small stuff and keep your eye on the ball.
