the trick works- if there is still anybody out there in denial. I tried to register a few hours after my NCLEX and I got to the credit card page, so I had a suspicion that I had failed. well I got my results in the mail today, and sure enough 'HAS NOT PASSED' was written in capital letters..boohoo.
good luck to those still waiting for results or about to write. it's back to the drawing board for me..

I am a RPN- I did my training in the UK. I have just taken the NCLEX to register as an RN in Florida. Florida and I think New Mexico, dont care whether you're RN or RPN, as long as you have hours in each area of nursing. Passing the NCLEX as an RPN is quite a hurdle. I took my NCLEX today and am pretty sure I failed....if you want to work in general nursing I suggest you do the RN training. I want to work in Psychiatry, in Florida.
    Hope this helps

just took mine too, so sure I failed. Tried the 'pearson vue trick' and it let me give credit card details, so if that's not confirmation...I had lots of SATA, some calculations- which were good, but a lot of prioritisation which I found hard- I would always be left with two answers that seemed equally top priority!!

    hi all
I have just come back from taking my RN exam, I had 75 questions and I know I failed. I had so many SATA and a lot of priotisation questions. I left with such a sad feeling, but I know I could dane more to prepare. Anyway, I have just tried to re-book and guess what, it let me do it! I am definately not paying to get the result in 48 hours. I had a feeling I failed, and with 75 questions, you either ACED the exam or failed good and proper. I know I didn't ACE the exam.
    Back to the drawing board....

    HI
I am new to the forum, i wanted to find out if there is a maximum number of attempts at passing the NCLEX exam, that the state of Florida allows you to have?
Also, are there any free online NCLEX coaching sites around?
I am working full time as a Psychiatric Nurse in Canada and have left it to the last minute to study, so PANIC has set in. I write my exam on May 6th, any suggestions?
