    I have done some online college and did really well. I'm not trying to knock Galen by any means, but I did have to teach myself a lot of the time. It's probably partly my fault. I daydream during class and just wanna get out of there so I can go home...

    I PASSED!!! I'M A NURSE!!! YAY!!!! I am sooooo happy right now.

    Yeah, I went to school with a lot of people that got more help than I did, but because I was married I didn't get much help. I had to take out loans instead. Our govt is so not right.

    Oh, I know! I hope it will be there soon so I can get a job. I can't get a job without that number! Took my nclex for the first time today and I hope to be my ONLY time! I wanna be a nurse!

    I'll find out probably monday or tuesday. I wish I would have had more than 85 questions and now I'm starting to second guess myself. They should make the results known right after you take the test. That would be so much better!
  8. University of Louisville, or Galen College of Nursing?

    I went to Galen in Louisville for my LPN. It is more expensive, but quick to get in and you don't have to do pre-reqs.
  9. Cost of LPN training?

    I went to Galen College of Nursing and tuition was about $14,000 for the year. I did get about $3,000 in grants. So, about $11,000 is what I have to pay back.
  10. Took my NCLEX-PN for the first time today

    I took my NCLEX-PN today. I had 85 questions and then it shut off. It was hard! Aggghhhhhhh! I just want to know if I passed!!!
