   I'm a former travel nurse who made $33/hr telemetry. I'm in central Illinois and am making 21.65/hr at a SNF as an MDS coordinator and am lucky to be getting that. DON pay is 50K/yr (which comes to about 25/hr).

   They blame the DNS for everything and you'd be next. If you like your salary and who you work with, why leave? Would you really want to be a DNS for them?

   Did you ever say you'd call the state? That'll make them find a way to terminate you. I hope you HAVE called the state on them. When they don't listen to your legitimate complaints, you have the right and obligation to notify they next in line.......

   I belong to AANAC and although I've heard them discuss salaries on the discussion group, I can't find any info on their website regarding salaries. I believe that we should make as much as the ADON, but I don't see that happening.
