    i decided a long time ago i couldnt do "bedside nursing". i work in a cath lab, i still get patient contact but its for a short time and they always appriciate what i do. i never feel burnt out because everyday is different and the pace is fast.

    I am so glad I found this post. I will be a new G.N. in May 09 and I accepted an ICU fellowship but I will move into the cath lab. Everything mentioned above has me very excited to start working. Thank-you everyone.
  9. I graduate in May and was hired for a icu fellowship and then will work full time in the cardiac cath lab. I was offered four different fellowships, it was pretty exciting to get to choose. A lot of my classmates got the jobs they wanted too.

    I'm a new grad in May 09 I have gone on lots of interviews and was offered 4 positions that I really wanted and picked a 6-month long fellowship in the ICU/cath lab. If you work hard, do your research and stay open minded you will find a job.
