    rehab over med surge? Thats a no brainer, I say unless you are a new grad getting needed experience, always avoid med surg. The stress and work load is way too much and you get paid the same thing as nurses in much less stressful areas.

  10. i had a similar experience, i hit it off with the charge nurse interviewing me, she called HR in my presence and told them to have me come in and fill out needed paper work so that i could start the job, about 2 weeks went by and i heard nothing back...

  14. i think this is unsafe especially for a new grad, if this is only offer especially in this job market, take it and keep applying elsewhere when u get another offer, run don't walk
  15. try applying at the smaller community hospitals, may be about a 30-45 minute drive, i live in north carolina and got offers from the smaller hospitals, beats nothing
