Hello Silika! I'm currently in the NWFSC ASN program and I think I can answer a few of your questions. They have changed the application process slightly since I was admitted, but for the most part, if you have 100 points, you should get in. I know ...

Sounds like you're on the right track. I know they slightly changed the points system so I'm not sure, but if you can take Micro in the summer with ********* it is WAY better than with *****. I know firsthand because she taught us for two weeks whil...

I just started the NWFSC RN program this fall. I know a girl who is in the PJC program and from what I heard NWF is better. The programs are set up differently and if you live in Destin it would be a really long drive. Not all clinicals are at the ho...

I just finished taking A/P 1 and 2. I don't think you need to buy or read any books before class; all instructors test on different material. I took all the notes (didn't really pay attention to what the instructor was saying b/c he would go way too ...
Yeah, I noticed early on that whatever we are studying in A/P 2 we are starting to learn a little about in A/P 1. I found that I would get the classes mixed up sometimes when studying because I knew more information than needed for A/P 1.
Yep, A/P 1 is not a pre-req for A/P 2. Everyone I talked to (my uncle, he's a nurse, my A/P teachers and the counselor) all recommended that I did not take them at the same time. I am glad I didn't listen (didn't really have a choice), at the same ti...
I am taking A/P 1 and 2 this semester (have A's in both) and if I get at least an A and a B, then I will have 100 points. How many do you have? Is this your first time applying?
3,000?! Whoa, I had no idea. When I talked to the counselor back in December she said so far 300 had applied already. I figured that was an average of about 100 per month up till April. Good luck to both of us!
I am taking A/P I and II at the same time and we just got our midterm grades. I have a 95 average in both classes and I'm super excited!!! If I keep up the pace, I will get all my points for entry into the nursing program and have a REALLY good shot ...
There are a few courses that have to be completed before being accepted into the program. The only ones I have left are A/P 1/2. I normally wouldn't have chosen to take them at once, but the decision to apply for next term was made very quickly. Sinc...
I am not working, but I do have two kids. My husband works twelve hour shifts (3 days on two days off sorta schedule), so I can't count on him to always be there. These are the only classes I will be taking this spring semester. I have to take them a...
