    I think it is a little of both. It is easier to catch on because you already have some knowledge base. However, exams are a little tougher because they expect, "higher level thinking". Whatever that is supposed to mean... LOL

    I would suggest using an NCLEX book with rationals in the back. When books just give the answer I do not remember why... By reading the rationals I seem to retain more info. Just a suggestion...

    Oh, sorry to answer your question I do not want to do r/t pain b/c that is another nsg. dx. ie. Acute pain r/t surgical incision a.e.b. patient grimace and guarding, ect. I have already done a care plan on pain.

    They go hand in hand but, personally I would take anatomy first so that you can know the structuures. Once you know what the body structures are it will be easier to understand how they work.
