    How about......"I need a carseat.....and enough milk and diapers to last till next week when I can go the WIC office." Have these people not been pregnant for 9 months?!?!?!

    Check you state regulations....in our state, 4 couplets is the max. You can have more, but rarely.

    Metropolitan: Our L&D nurses dont touch babies. We have nursery nurses who attend all deliveries for the babies only. We have mother-baby nurses who take care of the couplet after recovery.

    NRP says no DEEP suctioning on the perineum, but definately says to bulb suction, dry and stimulate as your first steps.

    Our nursery nurses do our circs, which is horrible. We do up to 10 to 12 a day. The Couplet nurse does not come in, which makes this very hard on the nsy nurse, because she already has her own admissions and sick babies to take care of. I like PP ...
