  3. South University FNP MSN program???

I graduated from SU-Online in March and passed my boards on the first attempt a month later. I was prepared and had no problem with the program. I had several mid-term and final exams during my practicum courses. The course-work could be challengi...
  4. Helping people was truly the reason I chose nursing. And it's the reason I chose to continue on with nurse practitioner. The money is nice too!! But besides the money, I volunteered before I even became a nurse. There are some people who only do it ...
  5. New Grad. Too early to start for my Masters in NP?

Im currently looking for clinicals also. Ive had much luck with my family doctor and pediatrician. Also, urgent care and free medical clinics were helpful.
  13. South University

Thank you tutucathy for responding! Did you have to find your clinicals before you were accepted? This is driving me nuts. I personally think it's a weeding out process but I want in!
  14. Alcohol swabs and iv access ports

I always "scrub to hub". I always figure, this is a direct entry line to the blood stream so it should at least be clean.
  15. Resume Question

I think you should keep the clinical portion in since you only have 2 months experience. That will make it look like you have a little more experience IMO. Could you hold out for a least 6 months? I've always heard HR looks for at least 6-12 month...
