The pamphlet says 48 business hours, but I took mine Friday at 8AM and got my results this morning (Sunday). I'm pretty sure pearsonvue does testing on weekends and you can get your results on the weekend.
I felt the hugest thing that helped me was knowing normal lab values, and the understanding the side effects when those are off. And taking TONS of practice questions, and reading the rationales especially for the ones that are missed.

My school breaks it up into 3 quarters. You might be on a semester system with just Fall and spring semesters. Where we have 4 quarters a year; fall, winter, spring, and summer.
