    Hey guys!!!

I'm looking for anyone that is going to be in the Janurary 2011 Cohort of Union University's Accelerated BSN program. I'm from CA, and I have never been to TN, and do not know ONE person there. It would be awesome if I could find a roommate from within the program!

I'll be moving there late Sept/early Oct for the Pathophysiology pre-req! So let me know ASAP so we can chat

    Have a good one!!

    Hey Guys!!

Anyone out there interviewing for the January 2011 start date for Union University's Accelerated BSN? I interview in a little less than two weeks, I am nervous/excited. Just thought I'd start a thread so we could have a common place to ask questions and chat, like how the interview went, how the TEAS exam was, etc!

    Cheers!

So this is my third time applying to Accelerated BSN's and going through the forum, honestly only makes me feel more discouraged. I graduated with a 3.0 exactly, and have A's in A & P, a B in Micro and a C in Chem [which some of the schools don't even look at] Am I out of my league???

I know this is what I want to do more than anything. But all I keep reading is I had a 4.0 in pre-req's and a 3.6 in undergrad...

So is there hope? Anyone have similar grades and get in somewhere? I've been told I have killer references, and a pretty good essay, and I have some healthcare experience.

Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!

Hey guys! I called Regis today to see when we would hear if we got an interview or not, anddd the advisor said she would be notifying us either by the end of this week, or by the beginning of next week!! Sooo not too much more waiting for the next step!

    Fingers crossed

I was kinesiology, with an emphasis in fitness. I only applied there, I pretty much decided I need to go to colorado, so if i don't get in this round, I'll try for the next jan. start date.

I'm not sure exactly about the interviews, i think i read somewhere that they are supposed to be held in Oct. sometime. So I'm not sure how much notice we will be getting on that.

So are you from the Denver area, or living somewhere else? I'm in California right now, so it's a really big hop skip and a jump for me

Thanks so much for your help and insight! If you don't mind me asking what was you GPA?? I know they require a minimum of a 2.5, but I'm assuming what is actually accepted is a bit higher.

Thanks so much for the insight! I live in California so its hard to get real information. If you don't mind me asking what was your GPA? I know they say only a 2.5 is required but I'm assuming it will take a little more than that to be accepted.

    Hi all,
I'm applying to either or both accelerated BSN programs at these schools. Has anyone recently got accepted or gone through either of these programs and can offer any advice??? I'm not from the area, so I really am kind of heading in blind, other than whats offered on their websites. Thanks!

So I'm applying to Accelerated BSN programs this coming fall. Right now I'm just finishing up my pre-req's, I taking a developmental psyc class now, and a micro bio class and pending which programs I decide to apply to a religion class, and another developmental psyc in the fall.

I'm starting to get nervous, I graduated with a BS in Kinesiology just this Spring with a 3.0 on the nose, and my science class grades aren't that strong. I currently live in So. Cal but am willing to literally go ANYWHERE in the country, that has a decent program that I can get into.

    Any advice???
