    this to shall pass! everyone feels incompetent when they start out on a pcu/tele floor. relax, learn all you can, invest in training/books, learn your strips and meds, you will be fine. you could do one pt now, you just don't know it yet!

    Wound care nurse salary range

    I work prn for an ltac/snf combo in az and make $35/hr. Whoever said it was hard work was telling the truth.

    not so much a nursing shortage as much as an experienced nurse shortage. also pre-2007-2008 the shortage was predicted due to the average age of a nurse was 48-50 years old. what they didn't reckon on was the economy.
