  4. When a medical pt is dying from something incurable we are essentially fighting a losing battle, but we as caregivers are obligated to fight that battle... Why would you not at least TRY to orient a demented pt and even if we lose at least we tried.....

    Thank you for all your kind words... I have been speaking to my SO about this and he has said pretty much the same thing, "be there for her but don't judge she will change when she is ready." I think the most frustrating thing for me is how every day...
