  2. Gear for your first clinical day!

We also had to have our gait belt every day. I maybe used it once too. As for the white uniforms I definitely wore clothes underneath. I already had a pair of nude colored Spanx so I wore those under the bottoms, and I wore a plain white t-shirt unde...

  4. Gear for your first clinical day!

In addition to all of the above, I learned after day one to always carry an extra handful of gloves in your pockets. They had them in all the rooms, but you never knew when you'd get that one room where no one had restocked!!

  8. Which school should i pick?

Can't help you too much -- but I have heard nothing but good things about PCC. But then again, County is just historical! If I didn't live so far away I'd love to go there. Granted a lot has changed, but my mom and aunt graduated from there approx. ...
  9. CNA programs in orange or LA county

I believe the ROPs are free (with certain conditions), but you'd have to pay for your books, uniforms, etc. You also need to sign up quick because they fill fast!!! Believe me, I tried all the ROPs first! But you should look into these- Orange County...
  10. How to become a CNA in California?

Are you in Southern or Northern California? What county, and when were you looking to complete it by? If you're near Orange County there are several, and I know of a few in LA County as well that are close to Glendora, Pomona, etc. All the ones I cam...

I start mine next month and it will be 8 weeks, 3 times a week. I was trying to get into a shorter more accelerated program, but around here they're all 8 weeks+.
