What is Suzanne's Plan? It's no longer listed on this site.
I've heard about Suzanne's Plan but have not actually read it. It's no longer posted here. What you can do is read the latest Saunders NCLEX-RN Review book and practice on its CD. It will help you pass the test. That was what I did. The key is in you.

Hi! I Take my NCLEX Dec 29th, and I'm using Saunders to study. I am consistently getting 70% of the questions right on the quiz and assessment CD practice questions and I am wondering how I figure out what that means in terms of passing. What percentage were other people getting right in Saunders before passing (or failing) the NCLEX? I'm trying to get an idea of how close or far away I am from an acceptable passing level because I have NO clue what 70% of Saunders questions means in terms of passing NCLEX... Thank you! I really appreciate any help or insight you might be able to give me!
I passed the NCLEX-RN exam last Nov 30, 2009 in San Francisco. I also used the Saunders Reviewer 4th Edition and likewise maintained an average of 70-84% on its CD and with Lippincott CD. While such average may indicate a good chance on passing the actual NCLEX-RN exam, I believe it would really depend on how well you answer during the actual test. I suggest you arrived at the testing center early and have ample time to relax and condition your mind. Always remember the ABC when answering. Critical thinking is very important so relax and have self-confidence. You'll make it. Where are you taking the exam? You can email me. Good luck!

Hi anyone who is waiting for the results in cali? i made this bec theres no quick results in cali.the waiting kills me
Hi, I took the NCLEX RN in San Francisco last Nov. 30, 2009 and got my result mailed just the other day, Dec. 14, 2009 or exactly 2 weeks after. The computer stopped me at 130. I had 6 satas, many strange drugs, a computation and many other question types. T'was pretty tough. Fortunately, I made it. Well, hope u guys made it as well. NCLEX-RN exam has never been easy and I guess they made it even harder this time.

As has been said, the computer stopping at any number between 75-265 could just mean either way. I took the test in San Francisco last Nov. 30, 2009 and had my result Dec 14, 2009. I made it at 130. My test was pretty tough like most if not all consider. I encountered a number of strange drugs early on. My strategy was analyzed based on the other more familiar options. I had 1 fill-in the blank computation and 6 satas. One has to be relaxed in taking the test and must muster self-confidence. Always remember the tips of Kaplan such as the "now and here", ABC's, etc. Good luck to all who yet have to take exam.

Hi Donna. I'm preparing for my 2nd take tentatively 3rd week of January 09. When I first took the NCLEX last Oct. 08, modesty aside, I did not expect to not make it. I guess my lapse was on critical thinking. By the way, how true is what some say that in order to pass, SATA questions have to be encountered? I'm doubtful about this impression because there are some who finished without any SATA and made it. In your 75 questions, how many SATA questions did you have? By the way, I plan to focus on NCSBN online review on my last 3 weeks before schedule. I've gone through Kaplan, Mosby and NCSBN cd reviewers and I've learned much from them.

    Regards,

    George

Anyone who used the NCSBN online review, please share your experience on whether it was indeed helpful or effective on your NCLEX RN exam. A couple of my friends who relied on just the 3-week online with NCSBN proved effective for them. Any suggestion on whatever online review is highly appreciated.

Is it true that in order for one to pass the NCLEX RN exam, SATA questions must have been encountered?

How true is what some say that the NCLEX RN exam for California requires a higher passing rate compared to other states?

    Hi!

Anyone please share your experience or knowledge on the license requirement of the California Board of Nursing. California BON requires a copy of the local license from the country where the course is finished. However, in the absence of such license, as stated on its website, they only require an explanation letter for the absence. I sent an explanation letter together with my application form stating that I still do not have a license since I just graduated. I took the June local board and awaiting the result. Despite the explanation letter, I just received a letter from them asking for a copy of the local license.

I would highly appreciate anyone who can enlighten me. Pls send reply to email: Thank you and regards. George

i understand that there is an ongoing retrogression. i need to know whether what is affected in the issuance of visas at this timeare only immigrant visas ? i know someone who arrived in the u.s. and is now working in a place in texas under a working visa. she arrived there last february 2008 only. i am confused whether sponsorship is available to hospitals at this time for u.s.r.n.s. it does not matter for me to start with a working visa. anyway, the green card will come sooner or later. thanks and regards.

I have a question for suzanne4. I'm soon applying to take the NCLEX exam. Assuming that I pass, I plan to leave soon for the US and look for a sponsor either in the San Francisco area or in San Antonio, Tx. Atty. M. Gurfinkel in his citizen pinoy weekly tv program regularly mentions about the option of looking for an employer/hospital who will sponsor to be able to work and legally stay in the US. Please comment on this suzanne. Thanks always.

hi! i'd appreciate if anyone can tell me which states release the att faster and, how would i know which states have reciprocity option with the state that i'll be taking the exam in?

i heard that california releases its att in 6-8 months. on the other hand, wisconsin releases in 2 months. can you guys please tell me if texas can have reciprocity with wisconsin? say i am licensed in wisconsin, and just assuming that it has no reciprocity with texas, where i wish to settle, what can be done to be licensed in texas?

    thanks and regards to everyone!

this is my 2nd post of exactly the same questions. i did not get any reply the first time. how would i know if i actually get a reply to my questions, do i get an email or any sort of advise? thanks. i really hope anyone this time would bother to spend a little of his/her time to address my concerns.
