  8. Nursing and Piercings?

AT a local hospital near me, you can only have two earrings in each ear, nothing real big, and you cannot have artificial fingernails; you are allowed to wear whatever make up you want though as far as I know. I once saw a tech wearing an eyebrow pi...

  10. Who is REALLY GOOD with needles?

Trust me, you will get over the wary feeling of giving needles. I've been having blood drawn at least once a month since 1991; yeah sure it might hurt sometimes and those IV's "ouch" when you don't have good veins, but trust GIVING NEEDLES IS A WHOL...

I felt the same way when I first started clinical- I was so nervous. I felt like I had to do everything right. Now i am goingto graduate in May 2003 and I feel more comfortable around patients and not as much intimidates me anymore like it used too...

I love children and have been working with them for years. Do you think it would be wise to start out from graduating nursing school into a physicians' soffice instead of a hospital on teh floor? I would love to work in pediatrics maybein a doctors...
