Hello! I will be relocating to the Ocala area and was wondering if there are any great nurse staffing agencies in the area to work for and/or if Ocala Regional or Marion County hospitals have their own internal staffing agency.
I currently work as an internal staffing agency for 2 different hospital systems in my area. You have the flexibility to make your own schedule with minimum requirements (work 24h in a schedule period; you choose what days/times; rotate between sites as needed - each system has a main campus as well as smaller sites in other cities- get paid a higher pay rate but little to no benefits (one system does offer health insurance; the other does not) . I have ER (15 yrs) and PACU (3 yrs) experience and do currently work in both specialties.
I have horses and a farm and the flexibility of this arrangement makes running the farm and competing at horse shows work.
Codes happen in the OR! How is not being ACLS certified an option?
Hi! I am interested in moving to Aiken for the horse community and was wondering what the job scene was like there.... The hospital system that I work for now has 5 different locations in my area, so I work at those different ERs as an "in house" agency/contingent RN. I receive a higher pay rate vs. staff RN positions, but no benefits. The nice thing is that I can 60+hrs a week because there are alot of shifts to fill!
I was wondering if anywhere in the Aiken area has something like this. I know there is Aiken Regional and that Augusta GA isn't too far away, but do either of these places have a flexible agency type situation? Also, would there be enough hours????? I am a single mom of TWO horses that like to eat alot! LOL
I appreciate any and all information! TIA! (thanks in advance, not transient ischemic attack!)
Hi! I'm an ER RN with 7 years of ER/peds/PICU (but mostly ER)experience. Was wondering what the job market/pay rate is like in the Aiken area... Any good agencies?(not necessarily travel agencies but those that allow you to self schedule to fill in scheduling needs) I am looking to relocate with my two horses (the area is a hotspot for equestrian activities) I am looking for a similar situation that I'm in now.i work for our hospitals' (we have 5 in our system) agency, have no benefits but make higher pay and self schedule which works for my riding competitions/training... I would need to work approx 48 hrs/week! Thanks!
hello... does anyone know of any nursing agencies that hire out per diems for staffing hospitals? I am an ER RN with level I trauma experience. I am trying to relocated back to the Boston area to be closer to family. I heard that there is a hiring freeze also, so I know it may be difficult, but I want to explore all my options. Just haven't been able to find any staffing agencies in the area when i google. They all come up as home health care agencies which is not what i'm looking for. Thanks for any advice!
