1. Which is harder - A&P I or A&P II?

Dang! I wasn't going to say anything, but I took A&P II in 5 1/2 weeks. I got the usual "A", but I'm telling you nursing school is different. I get "B 's" now and I'm working harder than I ever did. Study hard!

4. I did the same thing just to see what I was getting into. As a matter of fact, that's how I found allnurses.com. If you're really motivated and want something to do, get a book on introduction to chemistry (if that's an area you don't have much exper...
5. The most important thing about A&P? I would have to say learn it well and give it your all, because there isn't enough time in nursing school for more than a quick refresher when tackling the copious reading. They assume you know it and you'll ha...
6. Fake Swine Flu vaccine and medication warning

May 1, 7:26 PM It didn't take long for scam artists to start cashing in on the Swine Flu craziness. Today the federal government released the alert below warning there's NO vaccine, cure or medication for the virus and if someone tries to sell you ...
7. Which is harder - A&P I or A&P II?

A&P II seemed easier, but I think that's because learning how to study for A&P was a constantly evolving process in A&P I. I finally found an efficient and effective way to do it by the end of the term - and carried that into A&P II.
8. WHO raises swine flu pandemic alert to phase 5

No vaccine has been developed yet and it appears to have spread to new locations by travel. Mutated strains are a big concern too.
9. WHO raises swine flu pandemic alert to phase 5

I can see how that read and apologize for my apparent lack of compassion. Triage nurses will be challenged to identify acuity if they are inundated. The potential problems worry me.
10. WHO raises swine flu pandemic alert to phase 5

14 mins ago GENEVA - The World Health Organization has raised its pandemic alert for swine flu to the second highest level, meaning that it believes a global outbreak of the disease is imminent. WHO says the phase 5 alert means there is sustained hum...

13. Hello fellow nursing students! We had an assignment for fluids & electrolytes and I drew hypermagnesemia - I know, vanilla. Anyhow, I just got the grade back............100% from this presentation.
14. Bedbaths and Bedmaking

Our first clinical rotation was LTC and the skills labs were focused on basic client care at that time, so we did a lot of baths, ADL assistance and bedmaking then. I haven't done much of that since. 0630-1330 is like most of the others for me, alth...
15. Students that cheat

This isn't advice, but an example of another way of looking at it. Have I turned in a cheater? Yes, in a heartbeat. Why? Because I don't want them in the same pyxis as me. They've demonstrated they are more than capable of being deceitful. This only ...
