    Penn will not hire unless you have a BSN. Also nether will a lot of the city hospitals. My floor is a med/surg and our ratio is 4/5 we can have 1-2 cna's on the floor depending on availability. If we have 1:1's that means less cna's for the floor.

    I live in the area and they only hire BSN nurses. We are so saturated here with new nurses because we have many schools just churning out new grads.

  7. I graduated from HFU spring 11'. I think nursing school in General is hard. What I do know is our class had 100% pass rate. I feel that the clinicals aren't the best. Although, once you pass the boards you learn on the job! Best of luck.
