I graduated from a community college vocational nurse program in 1994. Passed the NCLEX, 1st attempt and received my license in 1995. Started work ASAP, working at a blood center, then a sub-acute/skilled facility, and home health. Love being a LVN!

    You can only do what you can and nothing more. Don't burnout from life. Congratulations on completing courses and board for LVN. It is a major accomplishment.

    Home Health Salary???

    In 2011 I as an LVN was earning 17 and hour and was considered low wages. As an RN I am sure you could expect much more than 20. Is this your 1st year or something? Some agencies do that with 1st year nurses. Sorry.
